              Chiang Mai University International College hosted a Workshop on Preparing for Cooperation and Human Resource Management for Japanese Business.

Chiang Mai University International College along with the HR Japan Organization put on the “Workshop on Preparing for Cooperation and Human Resource Management for Japanese Business” for Chiang Mai University students. The event had Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom Acting Vice President for International Relations and Alumni Affairs providing opening remarks and Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs Dr. Pichayalak Pichayakul providing the workshop briefing. At this workshop Mr. Makoto Fujii (Director General of HR Japan), Ms. Hiromi Tokumaru
(Director of HR Japan) and Mr. Takayuki Nishimura (Director of HR Japan) from HR Japan were the presenters. The objectives for the workshop were to provide knowledge about business, human resource management, and Japanese style organizational management. Also, to give students a vision for modern leadership and human resource management as well as provide the opportunity to gain deeper understanding of the management culture of Japanese organizations. This will prepare students to apply for work or study in Japan. Associate Professor Ronnaphob Uaphanthasath, M.D. Acting Assistant to the President for Student Development and Student Affairs provided closing remarks as well has distributed certificates to attendees. 50 students participated in this workshop. The workshop was held at the UNISERV building on March 18-19 2017.
